What is foot 91? For what techniques and fabric is it designed?
Jersey Foot #91 is the "Zigzag for Jersey" foot. Designed for use with "older" BERNINA® sewing machines (1630 and older) Jersey Foot #91 has a side thread slot to help keep the needle thread in place when stitching forward/reverse stitches on knit fabrics.
Although it is still on our list of accessories, BERNINA® no longer manufactures it. However, it is still available to BERNINA® customers. Your BERNINA® store can order one for you from our warehouse if you sew on 1630 or older machine.
