What foot can be used to sew velvet?
Walking Foot #50 will work well on velvet. It feeds both layers at the same rate with non-metal pads on the underside of the foot so it is gentle on the pile. It has two clip-on soles: one for regular sewing and one with an open toe for sewing/quilting. The open toe sole should work beautifully on velvet.
