Gathering Attachment

Apply the speed of your serger to gathering! The flap of this attachment separates the two layers of fabric, causing the bottom layer to gather against the feed dog while the top layer passes through ungathered.

  • Combine with a high differential setting to produce a high gathering ratio
  • Applications for this foot include producing long lengths of ruffled fabric such as gathered inserts, puffing, bed skirts, ruffled borders and edges
